    Fabulous

The room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. It's always good to have breakfast running until late. The building in itself is lovely and quite quaint considering the number of rooms.

The room was cold. Although I suspect that this was due to a sudden and unexpected drop in outside temperature and I would imagine that it takes a while to heat up such a large building.

The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean.

I was told I had been given an upgrade to a Sky Studio. This turned out to be a dark attic room with a view of a brick wall, no air conditioning and no ability to open window. It was stifling. The receptionist offered me a fan but there was already one in the room wihich made a marginal difference.

    Superb

I like the location of this hotel, it's located in the heart of city centre

Noise and the Multimedia packages is too expensive.

    Fabulous

Location, perfect for city centre etc, staff and facilities excellent, room of high standard, plenty of variety at breakfast

TV was rather basic. Night was spoilt by party noise until the early hours.

    Location is superb

The facilities are old, dated & generally in need of a facelift. A refurbishment/re-investment to hotel facilities should be made urgently

    Very good

calm and relaxing with excellent central location.

breakfast dining room looks little shabby and better range of food would be welcome given the fairly steep price

    Superb

Very pleased with our room - clean, light and a lovely large bathroom. The reception staff are excellent and very helpful. The lounge area is good to relax in and the bar is nearby. Very impressed when the weather suddently turned cold and the staff provided portable heaters until the central heating kicked in. Hotel is right in the centre of Leicester and walking distance from train station, They also have a direct line to local taxi firm (all taxis firms in Leicester very good) and whenever we used this a taxi came within a few minutes.

The only disappointing aspect of our stay was the restaurant. The menu was extensive (possibly too extensive) however our meal was a bit 'clumsy'. The bar snack type meals they offewred looked better than our choice but we thoutoughly enjoyed the service from the staff and the 'bistro' atmosphere next to the bar. We only tried the one restaurant and there are others in the hotel and there are loads of other places to eat right outside the hotel.

    Fabulous

we had been at the Summer Sundae festival and arrived late but were made very welcome

The location is very usefull as its smack bang in the heart of the city centre....Learn how to use your feet again...and explore all the arcades with independant shops..

At night if you are trying to rest, watch telly or even trying to sleep on the weekend ,it can be done... But too many bars with people spilling over onto the streets,rowdieness...

We were met and greeted well at reception, but from there it went down hill

This is not a good hotel. Avoid! Small Room. Unclean. Old decor. No AirCon. Noisy Room (eg heard upstairs walking around). Bed uncomfortable. Inconsistent Shower.

    Exclusive

The quality of the rooms we had. I booked 2 executive rooms as part of a deal and it was excellent value for money. The room was huge and very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer. The reception staff were extremely friendly.helpful and efficient on this visit.

In spite of requesting a twin room we were initially allocated a double. This has happened on a number of occasions.

Free WiFi in Hotel reception. Nice Reception. Good Location. Nice Staff. Rooms cleaned every day.

Food Service took way too long. Missed breakfast by 5mins and staff couldn't help out. Entracnce needs to be cleaned up. Residants had to pay for parking.

    Fabulous

The hotel is very close to the shopping areas in Leicester and close to some good restaurants.

The room didn't have air conditioning and the sash windows only opened 4 or 5 inches so there was very little air. There was a wedding in the hotel the night we were there but they caused us no trouble at all and you would have had to be a very very light sleeper to be bothered by the noise.
